In short

What Apple IT support covers for Zurich companies.

One dedicated contact handles set-up, management, security and day-to-day support for every Mac, iPhone and iPad in your company. New devices configure themselves through zero-touch deployment, and updates and security policies run centrally in Mosyle MDM. Issues are solved remotely; for roll-outs and inventories we come to Zurich.

Services

Apple business services for Zurich.

Everything an Apple fleet needs, from one partner instead of five.

Foundation

Apple Business Manager, set up properly.

Verify your organisation, confirm your domain and connect Managed Apple Accounts to Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace. Your reseller assigns new devices to your company automatically, and we clean up legacy Apple IDs on the way.

Deployment

Zero-touch deployment for new Macs.

New Macs ship straight to the employee, at your Zurich office or at home. On first boot they configure themselves: apps, Wi-Fi, printers, security policies.

Management

Mosyle MDM for Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Enforced updates, FileVault encryption, firewall, software distribution and remote wipe if a device is lost. As a Mosyle MSP partner we set the platform up and run it for you.

Help desk

Support for your team, remote and on site.

macOS, Microsoft 365, Adobe, Archicad, printers, Wi-Fi: questions go to one contact who knows your environment. Most requests are solved remotely within minutes.

People

Onboarding and offboarding without gaps.

New starters get a ready-to-use device with all access on day one. When someone leaves, accounts are locked, data is secured and the device is prepared for the next person.

Identity

Single sign-on and two-factor.

Platform SSO ties the Mac login to your identity provider. One password, enforced two-factor authentication and no orphaned accounts across twenty SaaS tools.

Data protection

Data security you can prove under the revFADP.

Encryption, patch level, screen lock and access rights are documented in the MDM. That is how you evidence the technical measures Art. 8 of the Swiss FADP requires, without spreadsheets.

Certification

ISO 27001, TISAX® and NIS2 for EU customers.

If you supply German carmakers or EU corporates, you will be asked for security evidence. We prepare your Mac fleet for it as an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor (TÜV SÜD).

Who it is for

Mac support for businesses, not for private users.

Zurich has plenty of good Mac helpers for private users setting up a new iPhone or a mail account. Our focus is different: we support companies whose work runs on Apple devices and who need management, security and evidence. Typical clients:

  • Architecture and planning firms using Archicad, Vectorworks or Rhino
  • Agencies, studios and production companies with confidential client projects
  • Start-ups and tech companies that grow fast and need devices ready on day one
  • Consultancies, law firms and fiduciaries handling sensitive client data
  • Suppliers whose customers require ISO 27001, TISAX® or NIS2
Law & security

revFADP, ISA and EU requirements: what they mean for your Macs.

Swiss companies operate between two legal frameworks. We translate both into concrete settings on your devices.

revFADP: data security (Art. 8)

The revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection has applied since 1 September 2023. It requires appropriate technical and organisational measures. For Macs that means encryption, current updates, locked screens and clear access rights.

Breach notification to the FDPIC (Art. 24)

If a data breach is likely to result in a high risk for the people affected, it must be reported to the FDPIC as soon as possible. With an MDM you know immediately whether a lost MacBook was encrypted and whether it has been wiped.

Cyberattacks to the NCSC/BACS (ISA)

Since 1 April 2025, operators of critical infrastructure must report cyberattacks to the Federal Office for Cybersecurity within 24 hours. We check whether you are in scope and prepare the processes and evidence.

EU customers: NIS2, ISO 27001, TISAX®

Swiss companies are not directly subject to NIS2, but their EU customers are. The requirements therefore show up in supplier questionnaires and contracts. We answer them with real evidence from your environment.

Zurich region

Remote, with scheduled on-site days in Zurich.

Our Swiss office is in Basel, about an hour by train from Zurich HB. Day-to-day support runs remotely. For roll-outs, network work and inventories we schedule on-site days in the city of Zurich (districts 1 to 12, from the Old Town and Seefeld to Zurich West, Oerlikon and Altstetten) and in Winterthur, Zug, Baden, Uster and the Glatt valley.

Remote support

Remote access only with the user’s approval, logged and encrypted. Ideal for software, settings, mail and access.

On-site days

Device swaps, Wi-Fi and network, printers and plotters, meeting rooms and inventories are bundled into scheduled visits to your Zurich office.

Agreed response times

Response times are agreed in writing and tiered by urgency. An outage that blocks the whole team comes first.

One contact

No ticket ping-pong between changing technicians. You talk to the person who built your environment.

Process

How we get started.

1

Intro call

30 minutes on video, free. How many devices, which software, what is urgent, and are there requirements from customers, insurers or the revFADP?

2

Inventory

We record devices, accounts, licences and tools, and show where the risks and unnecessary costs are.

3

Set-up

Apple Business Manager, Mosyle MDM, single sign-on and security policies, first with a pilot group, then for everyone.

4

Ongoing support

Help desk, updates, onboarding and offboarding, and a regular review of security and licences.

Apple specialist, not a generalist

Why a pure Apple partner?

Many IT firms look after Macs on the side, using tools built for Windows. You notice it every autumn when a new macOS release is supported weeks late. JF Agency works exclusively with Apple environments and knows Apple tooling, updates and security features in depth.

  • Apple Certified Technical Partner and Mosyle Certified Administrator
  • ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead Auditor (TÜV SÜD) and TISAX® consultant (TÜV Rheinland)
  • Experience with confidential projects for Porsche, BMW and MINI
  • Offices in Basel and Berlin, clients in Switzerland, Germany and Austria
FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Apple IT support in Zurich.

Do you have an office in Zurich?

No. Our Swiss office is in Basel, about an hour by train from Zurich HB, and our second office is in Berlin. Ongoing support is handled remotely. For roll-outs, network work and inventories we come to Zurich on scheduled days.

Do you support private users?

No, we only work for companies and organisations. For help with a personal Mac or iPhone, a local Mac helper in Zurich is the better choice.

What does the revFADP require for our Macs?

The act does not list settings, but it requires appropriate technical and organisational measures (Art. 8 FADP). In practice that means disk encryption, timely updates, screen lock, strong sign-in and the ability to lock lost devices. An MDM enforces this and documents it.

Is Apple Business Manager available in Switzerland?

Yes. Apple Business Manager is available in Switzerland and free of charge. Devices you buy in your company’s name from an authorised reseller or directly from Apple are assigned automatically.

We already use Jamf or another MDM. Do all devices need to be reset?

Usually not. Since macOS, iOS and iPadOS 26, devices can be moved to a new MDM through Apple Business Manager without losing data. See our page on MDM migration.

Do you also support Windows PCs?

No, we deliberately support Apple devices only. Individual Windows workstations are connected to identity and network, while a Windows partner manages them. For mostly mixed environments, a generalist IT provider is the better fit.
